St Olaves

St.Olaves sits in the center of a block between Ironmonger Lane to the east, Old Jewry to the west and Cheapside to the south, it is also part of the Guildhall conservation area which includes a number of listed buildings, although St.Olaves is not listed. St.Olaves is an existing rectory that has been converted into a residential flat in the mid 1980’s.

The proposed alteration includes creating a fixed roof light over the landing of the existing stair. As well as altering two existing windows into double doors, as seen in the drawings overleaf. This will provide improved access to the adjacent terrace, in a similar fashion to the opposite terrace. Neither of these alteration will significantly alter the external fabric of the building.
